Students took part in an extremely busy three days with 11 external groups coming into the Academy to work with students with an additional 10 activities being hosted by staff in school.
We also had the opportunity to invite students from Woodlands Meed on Thursday for sessions hosted by our students working on their Leadership skills who worked in pairs to facilitate Science experiments and Maths puzzles.
External trips went out to Volks Railway, Hollywood Bowl, The Royal Pavilion, British Airways i360, Thorpe Park, Out of Bounds and JumpIN. Students thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were a credit to the Academy.
We would like to thank the following external groups for their work in this year’s Enrichment Week.
Worthing Gymnastics, Press2Start, Hastings Kickboxing Academy, Robogals, Sharon Gilbert Mindfulness Yoga, Jess Campion, 2529 (Burgess Hill) Air Cadets Squadron, Brighton University STEM, Emily Goss and Inkpots.
Following the success of sessions in Enrichment week Cheerleading and Mindfulness Yoga extra-curricular clubs are in discussion for inclusion in the extra-curricular programme for September.
